I would say "you haven't had fun until you hear BLOOD SPARROW in context," but then Evan is my uncontested favorite so I might be biased. :-P
I like your renditions of the characters. Blake and Rose have a good mix of commonality and contrast, and Corvidae and the Tallowman are suitably creepy-looking. I really want to sit Blake down and explain that this is what it's like dealing with him, ALL THE TIME.
